Why Propedia

From free cheat sheets
to the full research desk.

Propedia started as one person sharing free props on X. It grew into the research desk he wished existed.

The journey

It started as Rascal Siakam on X - free props and cheat sheets, posted daily. The sheets covered defense-vs-position for NFL and NBA, laid out so you could actually read them: comprehensive, clean, no noise. People subscribed just for the sheets, because nothing else out there was as easy to use.

Then it grew. More sports. Edges, algorithms, and model criteria built on top of the same readable sheets. Propedia is that evolution - everything the cheat sheets were, expanded into a full research desk.

What Propedia checks

The lines

Consensus prop lines across the slate, tracked and updated daily. Always current, never stale.

The hit rates

Last-10 and head-to-head hit rates on every player card. What actually happened, not what should have.

The matchups

Defense-vs-position reads that show exactly where the soft spots are, by position, by stat.

The sims

A million matchup-specific simulations behind every projection. Not vibes. Math.

Free, on purpose

Paid research tools charge $15 a month for lines, hit rates and matchup data. Propedia pulls from free data sources and open APIs - scores, schedules, stats, lines - and does the hard work of turning them into readable research. No paywall on the sheets, no subscription for the numbers.

Keeping it free is the whole point. If it ever helped you cash, buy us a coffee - that's what keeps the lights on.

Questions, answered

Yes - the sheets, the sims, the scores, all of it. No paywall, no subscription, no pro tier holding the good stuff hostage.

No. Propedia is a research desk, not a tout service. It lays out the lines, hit rates, matchups and sim probabilities - then you decide. That's the whole point.

NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB - cheat sheets, live scores and prop research for each, refreshed every day.

Free data sources and open APIs, checked and blended every morning. It's the same raw material the paid tools use - just without the monthly fee attached.

No - everything is free and open. The props board, Ask AI, all of it works with no sign-in and no account.

Honestly? It does the same job - lines, hit rates, DvP, million-run sims - without the subscription. Built by a bettor, for bettors, kept free on purpose.

Do your homework

Frequently asked

Is Propedia really free?

Yes. Every board, sim and cheat sheet is free, no signup and no card. It's an independent research project, supported by the community - there's a buy-me-a-coffee link in the footer if it ever helps you cash. More on that here.

Where do the lines come from?

Lines are pulled from PropLine and checked across major books (FanDuel, DraftKings, bet365 and others). Each board shows the line it was built against.

How does the model work?

Every game is simulated 10,000 times from player rates, matchups and who's actually playing. A prop's edge compares the model's probability to the line's implied price; the formula is written on every board that shows a score. See what Propedia checks.

Do you post your record?

Yes. Picks are recorded pregame and graded on the next refresh, wins and losses, on the Model Record pages and in Discord.

Which sports are covered?

NFL, NHL, NBA, CFB, MLB, UFC and Tennis, each with its own site linked from the hub.
